Capturing a woman while she is pregnant is one of the most beautiful and endearing gifts to give to your child to be.  I wish more woman made it a point to document and capture this most amazing time of mother and child before he or she comes into this world.  Shelly is expecting her little addition in just a few short months.  Baby's big sister will sure be a big help to Mommy when that time comes.  I am so happy to have been a part of documenting this for you. Congratulations!!  You are one HOT MOMMA!!

Thanks Grandma!!  I appreciate  you being persistent about me going to the doctor and then taking care of me after you found out what was wrong.  I couldn't believe I had gained weight from my last visit 2 weeks prior.  I'm now 19lbs 1 oz.   I feel so much better and I loved spending time with you this past week.  You took such good care of me and it made my mommy feel such at ease.  I love you!!  Just think in 9 days, I'll be 6 months old.  I can't wait...

My Mommy has had the pleasure of taking 3 months off to take care of me + an additional 2 months of vacation that only required my Mommy to work 2 days out of the week.  I have loved spending time with her and my Daddy, but today she sat me down and told me the most horrible news that I have heard in my ENTIRE life: 

Mommy: "Serenity,  Mommy has something to tell you."

Serenity: "Yes Mommy, what is it?"

Mommy: "I have to go back to work full time this week, which means I can't stay with you as much as you have been used to." "You know you mean the world to me, but sometimes we have to do things in life that don't make us happy. "  "I love you my little Sweet Pea."

Serenity: "No-ooooooooooooo, please don't go back to work full time, I promise I'll be good"

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010!  As usual, the hubby and I along with our new edition headed to Dayton for our annual poker game, burning of the Christmas Trees, fireworks, and celebration of John's Birthday.  We look forward to it every year, spending time with family and friends.  This year we didn't take the 4 wheelers and do the typical "mudding' that we have come to love.  Our new edition makes doing things a bit more difficult.  For the 2nd time, yours truly WON her 2nd trophy, Yeah!!  Too Bad so Sad Aunt Kathy!!

Eaten's Good!

Ok, so I have procrastinated long enough on getting my little one started into solid foods.  You see the Doc told me that when I start her on solid foods, it's going to be like a diet for her.  She's been eating Momma's breast Milk and at 5 months because of her cough, I took her to the Doctor, and she weighed in at a whopping 18lbs 8 oz.  At her 4 month check-up, she was already in the 97% for her age group.  Thank goodness her height is proportionate to her weight; otherwise she might look like one cute plump butter-ball.

This is my 1st Christmas and I'm having a FUN time!!  I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thank my Mommy for some most embarrassing pictures that I get to re-live when I get older.  : )

Handsome Young Man

This is my brother-n-law.  He is super handsome and just so easy to work with.  He loves getting his picture taken.  For those that know him, look at how old he is looking in these pictures.  Just think in January, he'll be a year older.  Yikes!!

Merry Christmas Ms. H

Little Ms H is one pretty little blue eyed girl.  She just so happens to be 2nd cousin to my little girl.  I was so glad to go to her house and photograph her in front of her family's first Christmas Tree.  It was absolutely beautiful.  She is one lucky happy little girl.
